Events on the Greenway FRIENDS OF THE GREENWAY DISCOVERY WALKS - 2008 Friday, November 14th The Natural History of the Little Tennessee River Meet at the Frog Quarters at 573 E. Main street at 10 AM and proceed to a section of the trail for the Walk. In case of rain we will have some shortened program indoors. In 2008 our Discovery Walks included the following: June 13th, Butterflies; July 11, Edible foods; Aug 8, Mosses, ferns, invasives; Sept. 12, River Cane; Oct 10, Fall seeds and weeds; and Nov. 7, The River Environment. Discovery Walks will continue again in March.
