DISCOVERY WALKS have been replaced with a schedule of Backyard Nature Hikes, set up by Debby Boots and sponsored by Western North Carolina Alliance.

The schedule for July and August is now available at the MaconCounty Library, Frog Quarters, and the Chamber of Commerce and will appear in the media from time to time. These events are open to the public and some are quite suitable for children.
