Oconaluftee Job Corps Forestry Students worked hard for two days along Salali lane and Airport Trail removing Kudzu, Privet, Japanese honeysuckle, and Multiflora rose.

WCU students and community volunteers planted 100 Rivercane plants between the Little T and the community garden.

Cages have to be placed around newly planted trees and shrubs to keep

beaver from girdling them.
